It was a privilege for me to attend yesterday’s FutureCon CyberSecurity Events in Phoenix and to meet so many dedicated professionals in the field. A huge thank you to FutureCon CyberSecurity Events and Kim Hakim for bringing this incredible conference to our city.

I’m especially grateful to the Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) who invited me. It was inspiring to see such powerful female leaders in this field, including Dara Gibson, CPLP , Seema Patel, and Bindi Davé. Your expertise and leadership are paving the way for a stronger, more inclusive cybersecurity community.

A personal thank you to Michael Manrod , one of the panelists and an incredible teacher. His vast experience and dedication to guiding us through the complexities of cybersecurity are always appreciated, and it was great to see him on stage sharing his expertise with such an engaged and talented audience.

Special thanks to Jason Hayek for sharing his experience and expertise as the keynote speaker. His journey as “The Accidental CISO” was a powerful reminder of the importance of curiosity, resilience, and taking chances on oneself and others.. Looking forward to seeing where this journey leads next!

Attending the FutureCon CyberSecurity Events Conference was an incredible experience, and I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to my Senior Director, Brandon Weiss, for the opportunity!

The day kicked off with an inspiring speech by our CMO, Neal Hartsell, which set a high bar for the rest of the event. What a great start to the conference!

I was honored to attend alongside our VP of Sales, Chris Warman, and meet some truly amazing people in the cybersecurity space. Huge thanks to FutureCon CyberSecurity Events for hosting such a fantastic event and to Gradient Cyber for allowing me to be a part of it!

As a tech enthusiast, it was eye-opening to step into this side of the business — networking with brilliant minds, learning about cutting-edge technologies, and understanding the real-world challenges and needs in the market. It’s one thing to build tech, but another to meet the people who actually need it and figure out how we can help them succeed.

One moment that stood out to me personally: I remembered attending placement booths hosted by University of North Carolina at Charlotte just a year ago, where I submitted resumes, hoping to find my place in the industry. Yesterday, I found myself on the other side of the booth, and it was a full-circle moment. Grateful for how far the journey has come.

The recently held CyberSecurity event was one of the year’s best events. The lineup of speakers was top-notch and provided a wealth of information and tactics for preventing cyberattacks. I was particularly excited about the Excellence Award ceremony, which recognizes and celebrates the achievements of those making a significant impact in cybersecurity.

I want to extend my sincerest thanks to the organizers and all those involved in making this event a great success. The insights and knowledge shared will undoubtedly help me and many others in our efforts to enhance our cybersecurity practices and protect against cyber threats.
