Tony DeAngelo is the Chief Information Security Officer at Encova Insurance, where he has been working since 2004 when it was still known as Motorists Insurance Group. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Assurance from Norwich University, which he earned in 2009. Tony initially led the information security team for Motorists, but after the company’s affiliation with Brickstreet Mutual and the organizational rebranding to Encova, he was put in charge of the Security program for the new enterprise.

As a leader in Information Technology, Tony has played a key role in Encova’s digital transformation and cultural evolution. He currently chairs the Security Oversight Committee and manages the Information Security program, overseeing teams such as Security Operations, Identity Access Management, and AD Governance. Additionally, Tony is responsible for leading the End User Compute teams, which include the Workstation and Collaboration teams.

Tony’s focus is to balance the protection of the organization and addressing cyber risk issues with enabling innovation and providing strategic solutions. His expertise and leadership have been instrumental in Encova’s success as a leading insurance provider.
