Darryl Togashi is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse range of roles in the field of cybersecurity. He is the Vice-President of InfraGard Indiana, the Indiana Director for the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition, and the Chairperson of the Executive Committee CAE-CD Advisory Board for the AUCSSCD. Additionally, he is a member of the Indiana Executive Cybersecurity Council, co-chair of the Indiana Cybersecurity TSAP Committee, an adjunct faculty member at several Indiana Colleges, and a Full-time Cybersecurity Faculty at Purdue University Global. With over 15 years of experience in the IT industry and over eight years of experience in higher education, he has developed numerous cybersecurity courses and labs.

 

Darryl is an advocate for cybersecurity awareness in the community and throughout Indiana. He partners with various organizations such as JA, Techfest, Girl Scouts, CyberPatriots, and Indiana Executive Cybersecurity Council to spread the word about cybersecurity and help our youth gain early knowledge of cybersecurity. His goal is to develop young cyber defense employees for our nation. Darryl is always looking for opportunities to help and promote cybersecurity awareness among the youth.

 

Darryl holds an MBA in Management from Indiana Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Purdue University. He has recently earned several certifications, including Pent+, CHFI, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and MITRE Cyber Threat Intelligence. Darryl is currently working on courses related to User Experience and Interaction Design for AR/VR/VR/XR and AI in Cybersecurity. His latest interest is in the use of AI/XAI and the privacy and ethical implications surrounding data collection.
