Dr. Carmen Parada is the Founder and Managing Partner at 1CSR, Inc. She started her career programming in Cobol, Fortran, and Pascal in her native land Acapulco, Mexico. She moved to Sunnyvale to work for Sun Microsystems as a Unix Systems Admin becoming one of the first Latinas-Woman in Tech in Silicon Valley. Nowadays, Carmen is the Founder and Managing Partner at 1CSR, Inc a Cybersecurity firm helping organizations meet their security risk appetite. She also advises the Cybersecurity and Privacy Advisory Committee for NIST/DHS-led Smart Secure Cities and Communities Challenge.
