As the Deputy Risk Officer / Business Information Security Officer at Kaiser Permanente, I oversee the technology risk management program for the nation’s largest integrated healthcare organization, with $110b in annual revenue, 250k+ employees, and millions of members in eight states. I collaborate with and advise senior executives on their IT investment programs, ensuring compliance with industry-leading cybersecurity standards and regulations, such as NIST, ITIL, PCI-DSS, PHI, PII, HIPAA, and others.

With a J.D. degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a B.A. degree from New York University, I have a strong legal and regulatory background that complements my technical and operational expertise. I also hold a Cybersecurity and Privacy Law Certificate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, as well as multiple certifications and designations in asset management, information security, and finance. My core competencies include risk assessment, risk quantification, data and risk governance, policy writing and controls, contract and vendor negotiations, audit, project management, process improvement, and client onboarding and due diligence.
