What is a hybrid event?
Our hybrid events are run both in person and virtually. The in person portion of the event is run like a typical conference at a venue, while the virtual portion of the event will follow the same layout in real time on a virtual platform. Our sessions will be presented onsite and live streamed to the virtual audience in real time. Vendors will have an in person booth in the vendor hall at the event venue, as well as virtual booth on the virtual event platform.
All in person attendees will also have access to the virtual platform
I attended the event in person but had to leave early, how can I watch the rest of the sessions?
If you registered for an in person pass you automatically have access to the virtual portion of the event. The sessions will be live streamed to the virtual platform, and available on the virtual platform for on demand viewing for up to 5 days following the event. You can access the virtual platform by visiting https://futureconevents.com/events/ and selecting your event. Once selected you should see a button to Enter Virtual Event, click that and enter your email to login.
How do I login to the virtual side of the event?
You should receive a login link in your email a few days prior to the event. If you do not receive the email in time for the event you can visit https://futureconevents.com/events/ and select your event. Once selected you should see a button to Enter Virtual Event, click that and enter your email to login.
I am trying to login to the virtual platform but it is not allowing access
Please be sure to login to the event with the same email you are registered with. Please check your email to make sure you have not received a attendance denial email. If you are registered and have double checked there are no typos in your email please email meagan@futureconevents.com for further assistance.
How do I watch the sessions on demand?
You can find all of the sessions for on demand viewing starting at 5pm day of the event, and available for five days following the event. To access the virtual platform you will want to visit https://futureconevents.com/events/ and select your event. Once selected you should see a button to Enter Virtual Event, click that and enter your email to login. Once logged in you will navigate to Sessions. You can find all sessions available for on demand viewing there.
How do I check in onsite?
Please have your ticket qr code out when arriving at the venue for easy check in. Up to a week prior to the event you will receive a event ticket with a qr code attached. Once arrived at the registration table onsite present your qr code to the FutureCon team to scan and they will print your name badge and check you in.
What time does the conference start and end?
The conference begins at 8am in the time zone of the event. Sessions begin at 9am. The conference ends between 5:00–5:30pm. The in person portion of the event runs simultaneously with the virtual portion of the event.
What does the agenda look like for the event?
Visit https://futureconevents.com/events/ and select your event. You should see a button for the agenda. Times are subject to change.
How do I register for an event?
Visit our Upcoming Events page to view all of our events. Select the event you wish to attend. Select Register.
Which ticket do I register for?
Virtual Conference Pass:
Provides access to the virtual portion of the event. This includes access to the keynote session, all eight sponsor sessions, Panel session lead by leading cyber security experts, virtual vendor hall, and 10 CPE credits. This pass also includes access to the sessions for on demand viewing 5 days following the event.
In Person Conference Pass:
Provides full day access to attend the event in person. This includes access to the Keynote session, all eight sponsor sessions, Panel session lead by leading cyber security experts, vendor hall, 10 CPE credits, light breakfast, and a full lunch. This pass also includes full access to the virtual side of the event for our Hybrid events
Half-Day In Person Conference Pass:
Provides half day access to attend the event in person. This includes access to the Keynote session, four sponsor sessions, Panel session lead by leading cyber security experts, vendor hall, and 5 CPE credits. This pass also includes full access to the virtual side of the event for our Hybrid events.
I am a student, can I attend the event?
Our conferences are for employed IT professionals only. If you are a student who wishes to attend the event please email maggie at futureconevents dot com for more information on our student volunteer positions.
Why was my attendance denied?
All registrations are subject to approval. We do not allow the following attendees: students, recruiters, marketing, sales, independent consultants, or outside vendors.
How do I receive my CPE credits from an event I attended?
If attended the event in person:
When leaving the event you must sign out at the registration table, verifying you have watched all of the sessions up until that point qualifying you for the corresponding CPEs
If attended the event virtually:
The virtual platform tracks which sessions you watch and for how long. Watch all of the sessions live or finish watching any session you may have missed on demand (sessions are available for on demand viewing five days following the event) to qualify for the CPE credits. To receive the CPE credits you must visit the FutureCon virtual booth and submit the CPE credit form by clicking on the graphic in the FutureCon booth that reads: “Click Here to Sign Up for CPE Credits” you only need to fill out this form once per event, at any time in the event.
CPE Credit Certificates will be emailed out a week following the event
